About Us/Our History...

Welcome to Ocean County’s original “Family Owned Car Wash” It all
began in 1974 when my parents Ted and Adele Sobieski purchased
the Mr. Kleen Car Wash on County Line Road in Lakewood for
$38,000.00.  Renamed Lakewood Car Wash we owned and operated
this location until it’s closure in November of 2006. At the time of its
closure it was Ocean County’s oldest operating car wash.

Starting at the age of 12 taking care of the laundry for the Lakewood
Car Wash, I have since worked every position from vacuuming to
wiping to management. In 1989 upon graduating from Rutgers
University and successfully passing the CPA exam, I decided that
the corporate world was not for me. I joined forces with my parents
full time and I opened our second car wash in Toms River in 1991.

As a long time Toms River resident raising three young children here,
my family and I are committed to serving my friends and neighbors in
Toms River and the surrounding communities with the highest level of
service possible for many years to come.
